Growing up, I always pictured myself one day living in North Carolina, in the mountains. I loved the mountains, the forest and the lakes. There was just something romantic and rustic about it and I remember loving going on vacations with my family to North Carolina to a place called Sapphire Valley (http://sapphirevalleyrentals.com/ – I have childhood photos in front of the middle picture lake/mountain). I went on my first horseback ride there through the woods. I remember my mother being terrified that we would be attacked by a bear (Oh! The things mothers worry about!). We went mining and sifted through dirt to find semi precious stones. And we would go to the Biltmore Estate. Of course now, when I picture my life, I see a totally different picture but I haven’t forgot about how much I loved it and I will always look forward to going back 
For those who ordered my calendar, just to let you know, the 11.5 x 14 calendars were shipped to you today, they look really great! The 8.5 x 11 should be in today or tomorrow, I will sign, pack and ship them as soon as they’re here. It’s totally worth the wait, they really came out great

Hey,Ms.F….well,coming from England,I don’t know much about North Carolina,but it sounds beautiful….bears or no bears! If only we had a place in England called Sapphire Valley….anyhoo,beautiful set once again,Wendy….you’ve excelled yet again…nice dress,too…you look dressed up to go to some elegant dinner…was it alfresco?!
Is Sapphire Valley where you took these? The scenery is beautiful, good choice! I’ve never been to The Biltmore, but I’ve wanted to for years, especially when they decorate for Christmas.
Im curious, how has the way you picture your life changed since your childhood? The life I want to have is much different now from when I was 8 or 9. Well, except for a time machine, I still want one of those.
9, 14, 22, 30 and 33 were the best pictures! The dress made you blend in with the landscape (which looks a bit like where I’m from)
